Blogher - Sat morning

I’ve been listening to a - for me personally relevant - debate on getting our voices out there versus technorati top 100. Hmmm. Personally the most powerful comments have been:
1. If you write about something you care about - you will reach the audience you need to reach - forget about top 100
2. You need to know how it all works however - understanding is important.

In the meantime I am totally enjoying reading the Blogherroll from the bloglist.org page. I decided wway back when - to not add a blogroll to my page. I think I will change this.

In the meantime - culling through all kinds of fantastic blogs - I come across a posting that has such personal resonance for me - says things I have been culling and processing for the last week - that I must stand up and applaud. I had meant to write an email to a good friend of mine saying all of this - I can only hope she reads this instead.

Please read Julie Leung’s recent post A Woman’s Place is in HTML.

I agree 100%. Thanks Julie.
